Oh god. Willy's, the name alone made poor Alex snicker something awful, he really was an immature little boy inside. But wasn't every man? Oh burn, sorry just my personal opinion there, only not yeally. Yeah, anyway in this case the man in question is immature. He never wanted to grow up really, where was the fun in that? With that said he did want to get older phsyically wise y'know? Vain he was but he didn't mind looking old, being only fifteen he was dying to look older and he did, not many people guessed his age.

Well anyway, here Alex was at Willy's browsing through the asiles all alone, so much for being popular eh? Well PHFFT, this huffy git didn't need his friends, well...not much anyway, okay, alright he was kidding no one - he was bored and he needed his friends! Alex glanced at the stores entrance, as if willing someone he knew to came strolling in, but noooo nothing happen. Bastard! Well that was a total waste.

Shaking his head Alex reached a hand up to the baseball cap in his head, pulling it so the little visor thingy was tilted to the left slightly, oh yeah that's how he rolled alright. The cap itself was bright red, black paint splatters all over it, on his torso he wore a plain black t-shirt and a pair of denim jeans kept his legs nice and toasty warm. Speaking his toasty warm these knew Chucks he had on were lovely, a bit painful since they'd only been purchaced a few days ago and he had yet to break them in but BAH, one has to suffer to be as pretty as Lexie-Boy. And oh how this drama king suffered!

Alex looked down at the CD's in front of him and frowned, how did he manage to find his way to the Country section!? Not that he minded country all that much, y'know some of it was good and stuff but this was like hardcore country, just so not for him. So what did Alex do? You'd expect him to use a little common sense and find some genre he did like but no, instead braindead Lexie-Boy picked up on the CD's and poked at it with a forefinger, a small frown on his face. Within a few seconds he was moving away from the country section with the CD still in his hand. Dear Lord, was he going to buy this stuff? Damn right he was, he had money and he wanted to wate it all away mwuhahaha.

Of course he wasn't here to waste it all, oh no which was why he headed over to the 2 Tone section, he was pleasently surprised that there even was a 2 Tone section here, not even the high street names tended to sell something like 2 Tone. Alex had always found that quite sad, since it was an amazing style of music, or in his eyes anyway. Punk and Ska fused together, what could go wrong there?

Disappointment. Yes, that was what it was. The weather hadn't lightened since she'd been out last. Actually, it kind of just sucked throughout. Brooke was definitely looking forward to the warmer weather. Sure, it wasn't that bad, but she could do without it. Couldn't anyone? The sidewalk seemed to crawl beneath her feet, getting her no where. Despite the cold weather, everyone was out today. What the hell is it with these people? Are they like obsessed with the cold? A grin slipped onto her features as she glanced around.

The crowd was normal, mostly teens and people in their mid-twenties to thirties. No one was too old around here, not this part of town. A smaller child, maybe eight at the most darted down the steps of an apartment building. Brooke sidestepped to get out of his way, peering down to see what he was chasing after. A Labrador puppy scampered around the mass of people, dodging the underside of sneakers, ducking under briefcases of the workers. Now this was lunch hour.

Eyes drifted to the usual crowd outside of Willy's, the younger kids, the ones without jobs and money hung outside, window shopping. Normally, that's what Brooke would be doing, but being so goddamn cold, why not browse for a bit? A group of smokers hung on the steps, deterring her away for a moment. Shrugging her shoulders she scooted between them, stretching up a bit taller, sucking in her stomach to just make it through. She could feel their eyes heavily upon her, kind of like; 'Bitch, you don't sneak up between my boys.' Not like she cared or anything.

So here she was, just sort of standing awkwardly at the door. Finally regaining warmth she allowed her eyes to scan the many sections, deciding to pick a random one, gaze falling upon a familiar figure. The form slunk behind the rack, bending over to check something else out. Yet in a matter of seconds he was off again, most likely onto another section that fit his appearance. Yes, this was definitely Alex. Curiousity growing the better of her, she moved after him, wondering what his new pick of the day would be. "Hey, stranger," She announced, halting beside him. Fingers traced along some of the CD's, looking through the titles before gazing back toward him.

{Okay, that completely sucks on my part.}

Oh the choice was killing him, poor baby was in over his head here, this was always his problem when he had money - he wanted to spend it all at once but he never knew what on, all he knew was that he wanted a CD. But what if the one he picked turned out to be shit? But then 2 Tone could never be shit, not in Lexie-Boy's eyes anyway...well there you go, his problem was solved! Grinning much like the Chesire Cat in Alice in Wonderland Alex picked up the most colourful CD case on display, a tad hard since most were in black and white. That was the 2 Tone thing, geddit? Yeah the genres name has a sorta double meaning, kinda cool actually.

"Hey, stranger,"
Alex turned over the CD to scan the list of tracks, brow raised slightly he carelessly glanced at whomever it was who spoke to him before looking right back at the case, his brain taking a few seconds to realise who it was. "Brooke," Alex greeted brightly, a smile on his lips as he looked at the girl again. "Sorry, it took be a second to realise who you were, all engrossed in thought," He smirked rolling his eyes slightly.

Alex liked to pretend he was dumber than he actually was, he was quite smart in truth it was just he never worked hard enough to prove every one of his teachers wrong, in their eyes he was a lazy student who wouldn't amount to anything - of course Alex wasn't aware of what they thought of him and if he did odds were he'd work his ass off until he was top of his class, or the school even but until he did find out, he would remain his usual lazy self. A lot of things came easily to Alex, then again a lot of things didn't - like getting attention he had to work hard at that, he wasn't one of those kinds of people who instantly draw your eyes to them, no he fitted into the background far too well. He worked to get attention but things like making friends came easily to him, hence why he had to many, he was happy to just talk to random people in the street. Last week for example he had stopped to give a homeless guy some change and ended up getting into a conversation about God with him. Alex loved people, he'd love to work with people when he was older - which was partly why he wanted to be a photographer, though no one but himself knew about that hobby.

"How're you, chicka?" Alex asked with a cheeky grin, flirting was another thing that came easily to young Lexie, some called it a talent actually. Haha, okay not really but Alex personally thought it was something of a talent, but then Alex had always thought highly of himself. Very highly.
