Brooke Stevens, if there is one thing anybody knows about her, it's what a big Jared fan she is. Who can't fall for a sarcastic bad boy? But, maybe it's actually an air of mystery the draws her in... Because there's actually much more to this girl than suggested. Like most people in Loserville, she doesn't have the greatest story. She's a South, and her father was an East, her mother a West- and now, her father left them with just enough money to get out of the place mom was living and to the middle, but what can you do when your father is 'happily' living with his new family across town, and you have to go to school with his kids, and his step kids... who are the same age.

Well, she sort of feels that way about herself, and she never lets it show, being shy by nature. Being the half-sister of Brooke gives it's own problems as she tries to connect with someone that seems to be so different from herself. Few people know about the deep secrets that she hides about herself, but those people are the ones that are people she would give up her life for. The only thing that might make them really worried is hidden from them; her heart condition getting worse.

Nothing's going right, or the way he'd planned, and he's taking it out on drugs and being involved in the gang...

Trixy Scott, not the dullest lightbulb.... actually- she's kind of blinding she's so bright. Though the recent fall of her brother- Daniel, has sent her into a small sort of tail spin. It's her second year of highschool, and it proves to be just as challenging as the one before, boys, girls- and a brother so deep into drugs he can't find his way out. All she's trying to do is help, but- nobody's perfect.

Atticus Porter is a complicated boy. He’s seventeen years of age and is the calmest person you’ll ever know. Someone could intentionally lit his hand on fire and he’d just ask them to take him to the hospital, calmly. He’s like any other guy in many ways- he likes girls, he’s not a virgin but not a manwhore. He’s had his share of girlfriends, though none of them really meant very much o him. Most of his closest friends are girls, because for the most part they’re more complex than guys. He was born out of one of those ‘group’ things. His real father lives over in New York along with three other of his ‘parents’ and he lives here with his mother. The group, is made up of three guys and two girls, whom all consider themselves to be his parent- because they’re all dating each other, yes gays and lesbian relationships in there too, so he came from a strange background.
